busy.. maybe

Our feasibility study is over. We ended up highest in our class, two groups tied in # 1 out of 7.  And we don’t mind not joining the competition. Joining there is achievement of course, but for me it’s just an added pressure and added work. I actually perceive it as the very good part, a same grade to that group who will compete. Ahw it is stress free!

So for now, honestly I don’t mind anything that has something to do with academics. The grades on remaining subjects aside from Tourism Business Planning is more than enough – enough to sustain even if I fail on finals. Oh well, I’ll fail only if my profs will count my absences (LOL). Everyone knows its multiple! But this would be my last time complying for academics in school. My very last sem, next semester will be spent on ojt and in nstp. So you read it right! I am through in every academic subjects in my degree.

Another good part is my classes will be on Wednesdays and Saturdays only. I don’t have class anymore on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Isn’t it good? I love it. I’ll be a college student with only two days at the campus haha. I’ll be spending this good part on 3 weeks remaining for this semester.

--

Yeah, mostly knows that I spend spare time just by sleeping in the last couple of weeks. That is the time when I totally miss spending time every night outside. I haven’t drink anything that has something to do with alcohol in almost a month – that wasn’t normal. Yes, but now I’m already free. Maybe you expect me to comeback unto something that I surely miss. I tell you NO, I’m not. That is what I love about myself, I am barely to be predicted.

If you will ask me what I’m doing? I go to school, but I’m not going to class, lol. Another thing is last few days I am not always online. It’s not like I don’t have a choice. I put down a little night out, dinner, movies, sessions these past few days. Maybe you think I do have a problem. No, actually that’s exactly behind it. I don’t have even one.

But every day is something to look forward. It doesn’t mean my social life is zero. I still spend lunch and coffee with treasured friends from school. Yes very simple, it’s my decision to take time in its simplest on my most luxurious-free time. I watched and spend all my money on dvd’s – movies that I definitely miss on cinemas. I even finishing gossip girl season 1 and 2 as of now. And prefer to watch basketball games live – on tv. Not in araneta coliseum (live is sometimes heartbreaking). Next week I’ll be reading the books that are listed below. At least  1 or 2.
Hey it wasn’t boring. I’ts just that I enjoyed myself well enough during college, and this time is something that I will surely miss when I’m already working. Anyway, this will only be for awhile.
-    Before the sem ends, I should have applied on a company that I will go on my OJT to. (doesn’t sounds easy)

Dona's last quarter of 2010 list

I have been drooling for things that I really have no time to do it with. There are so MANY – I definitely don’t want to miss, for the reason that the feasibility study is on its peak, It feels like spare time is worth sleeping for.. haha. My mind is on a rollercoaster deciding which book I’ll buy first or what movie will go first. To the fact that I can’t decide, time is running, i think I should make a list and I’ll share it to you.

Okay, there were only two things for sure: I want to WATCH MOVIES and READ.

Dona’s list of books:

Stieg Larsson’s books – the man behind Lisbeth Salander – this author finished 3 books for his entire life; “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo", "The Girl Who Played With Fire" and "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest". They call it the millennium series – a trilogy. I just can’t get enough to thriller reads!

Her Fearful Symmetry Audrey Niffenegger – another thriller, from the author of Time Traveler’s Wife. You will usually see this book on bookstores in this cover. But surprisingly, while browsing I found out that it is already available for free online, you know! Ebooks  I even found one in google books. So there’s no reason for buying 

The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown – the last in my list and the only one I haven’t read for DB’s works. And now, my wish is granted, softbound is now available in national bookstores!  only P255! Before, only hardbound is available and it cost me P995, so I should really wait for softbound  we are meant to be, I never thought it is very soon.

Eat Love Pray – Surprisingly, I have seen its movie poster starring Julia Roberts

Jodi Picoult – I’ve watched My Sister’s Keeper which is I found very creative. I have a book of The Tenth Circle that until now I still haven’t found any time to commence reading it.

Dona’s list of movies:

Breakfast at Tiffany’s – I’m such a fan of classic in any forms, and when I hear that word I think of Audrey Hepburn. I found a compilation of her movies in record stores, including my fair lady and Sabrina – the 1st ever one and three other more. Im so sad I am unable to buy it. It’s a hard find for sure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urQVzgEO_w8

Easy A – I found Emma Stone uniquely pretty. I have watched her before in The House Bunny and Superbad, and she is funny too. I just love her! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DL7W6pEuAW0

Letters to Juliet – Okay. This is the movie every girls are talking about. I’m surprised Amanda Seyfried is bagging major roles after the first I saw her in Mean Girls with Lindsay Lohan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xz43rtBUVA0

The Last Song – I don’t like the cast of characters in this movie. I’m interested just for the reason it is one of Nicholas Sparks works.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joCwQ2pjfjw

Inception - they say it's a high IQ and should watch many times to be able to understand. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66TuSJo4dZM

The Expendables – you know that I’m the only girlish type who drools with action stars and action movies. This one I should never miss. Because it’s allstar! BIGTIME http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6RU5y2fU6s

Sherlocke holmes – this movie is how many years old? They say it’s nice. And I;m a big fan of Iron Man – Robert Downey Jr. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7aROdTxt6M

Shrek 3 – my most favorite animated movie, especially the second one. You should watch it! haha Pinocchio is sooo FUNNY!!!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7__TG7swg0

The Last Exorcism – with its trailer I can’t watch alone! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxhdCcYHZZM

Hopefully, I'll be up for all of this before the end of the year, then another list for next year ;)

a risk for substantial chance

Exert effort only if your instinct strongly tells you it is essential.

You may agree to me or not. But on everyday life, reality is some things won’t come along your way.

Exerting effort into instances that is not actually applicable, are just fooling themselves. Making them believe that hard work is; always NECESSARY; the only way in getting things done, right, good, perfectly.

Every time you put so much effort at the wrong time and place is a waste of time (honestly, for me). Because usually the bottom line of every wrong-timing-hard work ends up fail- that’s a fact. After that is very predictable, just choose:

You’ll blame the situation.

Blame the other persons who hadn’t been with you in getting through it.

Blame the time, place and chance or even the person who hadn’t give you favor.

Or even blame your zodiac sign because you are so unlucky.

I'm telling you, YOU WILL PUT YOUR BLAME EVERYTHING AND TO ANYONE OF THE REST OF THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE – but of course, not yourself. Because your so called hard work fooled you, illusion that you had done everything. Without noticing that it won’t be worth it at the end of that time.

I'm not saying to “wait” for the perfect time. Doing that will delay or may still won’t found any, even if it is too late. I'm just trying to say that instead of being over acting about it, why don’t you just choose to be optimistic for that. You have been blessed with five senses to have that perfect common sense and the normal human perception, that everything for now, only just for today, that maybe things will not be according to you.

I don’t mean to make you totally adapt manana habit or be a negative thinker: I suggest to use your head smarter: be optimistic for today and a positive thinker for tomorrow - that you always had a chance in making things right. Finding out; on when and how it will be more effective to get the result that you want.

Adapting what I had mentioned above will not just make you use your time wisely: wisely – like avoiding being over “prone” to NOT WORTH IT devastation, anger and disappointment moments. It can also maximize your thinking on what is more effective.

If you think that you are one of the wrong timing hard works, you may love pushing barriers of the limits of possibilities, it means doing seemingly impossible things at the perfect wrong time.

I suppose your favorite hobby is to blame. Funny on how crazy is that? There is so much to do aside from blaming! Isn't it you are the one who’s a real negative thinker? I assume that you are ALWAYS TIRED even within yourself, Right? Just tell me if I'm wrong. Cause then, I tell you this…

that wasn’t another person’s fault, I guess you know who.
