Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle. The world you desired can be won. It exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours. - Ayn Rand

entering adulthood
Before this year started, my plans for myself totally shifted. The kinds of
decisions I thought I’ll always make when I already had a chance. Thank
God, I experienced those chances as
what I had slightly predicted few years back. But none of those didn’t
quite match, in the way I expected how overwhelming it can be.
Not because I didn’t deliver the actions rightly, I did, but not as motivated as I could get. By the time given, I realized that my choices/objectives (dreams is what the most think of it) before are mostly based only for the comfort of the present. It’s like being selfish for yourself. They say “don’t be too hard on yourself” well, you can be pretty sure of that I’m NOT. I can say I did achieve just exactly the same thing even THOUGH, others worked HARDER for it.
My GOALS when I was 5 years younger are strictly straight. I did believe I’m not one of those who will change personal passion in the middle of college. I didn't and its too blissful for a teenage girl who already did figured out her directions in the future THAT EARLY, considering ONLY the consoles of the current situations. The good term to describe it is “incorrigible”. I thought I already realistically figured out how things will be.
But things changed. My perceptions, reasons, environments, opportunities – all of these and my CRITERION with it, strikes at me significantly and made me think; with all the faith and possibilities in the world, I could be better than what I had prefer for myself before. After all I had learned, I am thoroughly distinct, this time I WANT MORE.
Now I’ve decided to base my decisions on my future no matter how my present will cost me, I am more than willing to sacrifice all the possible comfort I could get now, as long as It will contribute efficiently well in my future.
Not really sure if it’s right and applicable for everybody but, this is just me more than willing, in control and dedicated to go exactly wherever I wanted to be in life. Now, for the first time, I have a chance to be a little difficult for myself. And it just happen this is the best place in someone's life where it could be most applicable.

The mainstream not less than 50 yrs ago
I neglected my blog lately, but that doesn’t mean I abandoned it. I’m not actually busy when 2012 commenced compared to the last quarters of 2011.
For some reasons, I found myself intensely hooked in watching movies.
Okay, who hasn’t?
But mine is different.
These are classic movies that are popular for a “little” long time ago; that I’m sure the majority of my co-generation peeps won’t even recognize. These were just some of my favorites:

Daddy Long Legs (1955)
Stars:
Fred Astaire, Leslie Caron
A classic musical that includes ballet, this one isn't a cartoon.

Gone with the Wind (1939)
Stars:
Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh
My favorite! V.L (Scarlett O'Hara) as the most manipulative woman you'll ever know. I actually found it funny, i love this movie because of her. and also, this movie lasted for almost 4hrs! (but I guarantee to those who love classic movies, it's really entertaining)FYI this movie won 10 academy awards (There's a reason behind it, right?). Definitey, historical.
Ocean's Eleven (1960)
Stars:
Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.

If you thought that All-star Ocean's 11-13 during the year of 2000's is original, better think twice. The George Clooney here is Frank Sinatra. These 11 men robbed not just 3 Vegas casinos, but 5 - not yet having the advancement of technology ofcourse.
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1938)
Stars:
Tommy Kelly, Jackie Moran and Ann Gillis

What can i say? The character of this witty young men caught me at an early age. I've watched its cartoon during the 90's (which is funnier when dubbed in Filipino) and I've read its book.
The Graduate (1967)
Stars:
Dustin Hoffman, Anne Bancroft and Katharine Ross

You might have heard this movie first on Joseph Gordon-Levitt(as Tom - 500 days of summer), and had misinterpret it. You might have also heard about "Mrs. Robinson" on quite few lyrics and some scripts of movies nowadays. Well, This is the root of it all. This movie is really quite epic. I recommend this controversial movie to all young men. Who knows? maybe you can relate to it! :)
To Catch a Thief (1955)
Stars:
Cary Grant, Grace Kelly and Jessie Royce Landis

I'm definitely inlove with Grace Kelly's classic beauty, I'll choose her over Hepburn. Even Mattel made a rare Barbie (W/c is I am dying to have) inspired by her; wearing a Sky Blue gown that she's wearing in this movie. FYI Grace Kelly is a Monaco Princess in real life.
Roman Holiday (1953)
Stars:
Gregory Peck, Audrey Hepburn and Eddie Albert

Last but not the least, the newer generations favorite, Audrey Hepburn. Aside from Breakfast at Tiffany's, Hepburn was just too good in girl next door roles. Not just because of her extraordinary style, talent and accent (which I dig!)the reason has always been her natural charm.
No matter how unpredictable I am (I don't care, it depends on how you perceive it), the truth is there has always been a classic heart within me.

Tagaytay City - Cavite, Philippines
Tagaytay is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations because of its outstanding scenery especially of Taal Volcano (a volcano island) and cooler climate provided by its high altitude.
