the photo junkie

Aside from blog surfing in blogger or word press, I have the underground hobby of what I call “cheap-thrill” of surfing the net just by browsing pictures. It’s my other way to waste time other than waiting and watching boring buffering videos. Every free time that I have, I found myself just by “looking” ALL-DAY-LONG in the internet.

I’m a frustrated artist, oh well, I don’t have that gift. And it just happened I don’t have the willingness in the future to practice and learn. But I do appreciate other people’s works. It keeps me entertained to be amazed in the endless capacity of creativity of human minds.

The photos I posted below are some of my finds that is saved in my online photo album by categories. I’m the only one who can view it. Photos below are just some of it.

b/w, daylight, pale
high speed

The categories i mostly visit aside from photography (black and white, daylight/pale, high-speed) are:

These had never failed to caught the attention of my eyes.

illustrations- mostly figures of women pencil drawing, colored pencils, robot/monster doodles and liquid painting

pencil & white paint on wood, liquid paint

doodled and everything

typography - letters A to Z and intricate cursive writings

graphics – other dimensions of vector and anything that is colorful or uniquely-edited splash of colors
i heard they call this "vexel"

color splash

patterns – whether it’s Japanese or not, it brings me the vibe of classy

b/w patterns, patterned diamond patches

original creativity- I'm referring to outstanding packaging, architecture, interior and design, concept themes that has just been put out of creativity and almost doesn’t exist.
tequila gun (bottle)
architecture, interior

badly vintage

nikon dslr cake, fly in a horse drawing

lens gun, island house

just so you know, there are millions of galleries around the net that doesn’t make you pay entrance fees.

new

For the last few days of the year, I see the same thing will happen ahead. Well at least only at the beginning of 2011. I remembered last days of 2009 when I’m wondering what would it be exactly after 1 year, I feel excited then, it’s my graduating year. That’s what I am, something new always makes me want to fasten things up.

And now I am here. Yes, everything is new. No more night outs, no more spending time in alcoholic gig bars nearest in my dorm with closest friends before and after classes. That’s what I miss during school days I can’t get back. The happy times, but still able to comply on things I should.

2010 is my happy single year. It’s the year where I really appreciate the essence of being solo. The point where i had found the importance of knowing yourself first and knowing how to trust people rightly - that depends on how they deserve it.
Now I’m deadlier ever than before. Haha. (kidding) I’m ready  to get things on and see if how It really should be. With my personality who only gives what she gets, unwilling to make feelings overflow, I know it will always be hard for me to commence.

my christmas day 2010

It’s the first time I had a chance to go home since my training had started. It’s been six weeks spending every minute at the hotel and the rest is to sleep at my dorm.

I feel good for complying in the adjustment of physical stress, that’s why decided to be absent for dec 24 and day off for Christmas and dec 26.

Since Dad is in abroad and eldest brother has his own family, me my mom and elder brother will spend Christmas day together.

Individualistic Doer

i found this personality test from a link shared by a friend. i now know why she posted it, because it is fcuking true! it just required 4 questions from what i remember. compared to other tests that will actually eat up many minutes.

i highlighted some of the statements i strongly agree.
this is what i got!
  • Individualistic Doers are self-assured and very independent people. They are quiet and realistic, very rational, extremely matter of fact people. They strongly cultivate their individualism and enjoy applying their abilities to new tasks. But they are also very spontaneous and impulsive persons who like to follow their sudden inspirations.

  • Individualistic Doers are good and precise observers who register everything which goes on around them. However, they are not so sensitive as regards interpersonal relations and are surprised when they occasionally rub someone up the wrong way with their direct and blunt manner. They are not particularly fond of obligations; but if you give them space, they are uncomplicated, sociable and cheerful individuals.

  • Individualistic Doers enjoy challenges - action and the odd kick are simply part of their life. They love tempting fate and many people of this type have risky hobbies such as skydiving or bungee jumping. This also applies to their workday life. Individualistic Doers are in top form in critical situations; they can grasp situations, make decisions and take the necessary steps extremely quickly. Hierarchies and authorities impress them very little; if a superior is not competent, they will have little respect for them.

  • Individualistic Doers like to take on responsibility. They have a marked sense of reality and always find the most suitable and expedient solution for a problem. They resolve conflicts openly and directly; here, they sometimes lack tact but are also very good at taking criticism themselves.

As friends, Individualistic Doers are loyal and devoted; People enjoy talking to them because of their optimistic attitude to life and their ability to listen. However, they prefer to talk about mutual interests and hobbies rather than about theoretical or philosophical issues - they are not tangible enough for them.

They need a lot of freedom and time to themselves in love relationships but, at the same time, they are also very tolerant towards their partners. It happens very seldom that Individualistic Doers fall head over heels in love. They are far too rational. They prefer to pick their partner on the basis of mutual interests and preferences which they want to share with that partner.

Individualistic Doers are not particularly fond of effusive outbursts of emotion. They prefer to prove their love by their actions and expect the same of their partner. Whoever wishes to tie an Individualistic Doer to himself needs a lot of patience. It takes some time before this personality type is willing to get involved with another person.

Adjectives which describe your type: introverted, practical, logical, spontaneous, adventurous, resolved, independent, fearless, loyal, analytical, realistic, optimistic, interested, curious, circumspect, individualistic, action-loving, venturesome, cool, dispassionate, reserved, skilful, confident, communicative, down-to-earth.

Career:

If one wanted to characterize you with one word, it would probably be “independent.” Few types are as freedom loving and individualistic as you (nomen est omen.) You should find a working environment where rules and structures play a secondary role, where the hierarchies are flat and where you won’t be limited to detailed projects and work flows. Your freedom to act cannot be large enough as far as you are concerned. You want to deal with things in the way you think it makes sense; how they relate to your own (high) standards and you don’t need others telling you how things must be done.

Titles and established authorities don’t impress you in the least. If someone is competent in your eyes, you have no problem occasionally listening to him/her. If he/she is not, there is no way that you’ll obey his/her instructions just because he/she has got a sign with “department manager” hanging on their door. Furthermore, you are all for equal rights and would prefer that everybody have the same rights.

Self-employment is not the worst alternative, because then you are less dependent on the decision of others and satisfied in your need for freedom. Your zest for risks and resistance to crises as well as your pronounced sense of responsibility and sensational capabilities as a tactician predestine you for that.

Here, it is very important that you specifically surround yourself with a few more levelheaded collaborators who can put the brakes on when your calculations and ventures get too careless. You are by far the most daring of all personalities and always ready to challenge fate whenever you feel like it: You are the kind of person who jumps out of an airplane and is confident that he/she will surely come across a parachute anywhere on the way down!

stability

On times like this when everything is stable, it gives me comfort and makes me feel very thankful. Though I wasn’t the very best student that I can be, I’m achieving more and acquire skills as time goes by; as I will be prepared and  feel that my plans for the future, is reserved for me like no need to hurry.

On the other hand, when everything is going well in the present time, you gather more and more excitement to get things done and wait for the next one. Wanting to fasten things up doesn’t always mean you’re not proud of what you have right now.
